Scales for searches
- When doing an evidence-based search in psychiatry putting a scale for the outcome measurement can quickly get the right articles.
- Here are some common scales based on diagnosis:

| Catatonia | Bush-Francis Scale |
| Dementia | MMSE, (Montreal Cognitive Assessment) |
| Tardive Dyskinesia | AIMS |
| EPS | Simpson Angus Scale |
| Mania | Young Mania Rating Scale |
| Irritability Autism | Aberrant Behavior Checklist (ABC) 1) |
| Delirium | CAM |

Aberrant behavior checklist most relevantly has irritability and agitation subscales. Other subscales includestereotypic behavior, noncompliance/hyperactivity.
